More Hair Please........So I've recently become completely obsessed with hair lol I've always been blessed to have a full head of hair and sometimes (under my breath hoping God didn't hear me) even complained about my arm hurting as I'm blow drying my thick mane. I don't know what it is but I want longer hair now and NO it has nothing to do with my fiancee or any other man's opinion of hair. This is something I want to do for ME ;0) I joined the Long Hair Care Forum thanks to a referral by one of my FB friends Dearroka yesterday and there are so many women of various backgrounds with healthy long hair up there sharing secrets, tips, and how to's on growth and retention. I just LOVE it! I even spend hours on end on the infamous You Tube watching different channels on hair topics, it's my guilty pleasure. I have shoulder length hair right now and want to grow it to BSL (bra strap length) by my wedding next August. I'm so excited to embark on this journey. I even invested in some healthy natural oils for growth: Jamaican Castor oil, Extra Virgin Coconut oil, EVOO, Jojoba oil, and Grapeseed oil. I went back to using Aphogee protein treatments to control breakage. That stuff is like gold in a bottle. I'm still trying to find a shampoo that I really love. I recently purchased Infusium repairology shampoo and it was just OK. I didn't feel any softness in my hair when I used it. I'm trying Organics Coconut milk conditioner to see how I like that on my hair. I used to use good ole eggs n mayo mix in my hair back in the day and just may go back to that but the smell is just horrible lol I'm also looking into getting the Global Keratin for curly hair protein treatment to make my more manageable so that I can wear it natural sometimes. That jammy is expensive though so it BETTER be worth every penny! Supposedly it lasts 3-5 months so we shall see. Anywhoo thanks for listening and stay tuned for updates. This is my hair now and supposedly hair grows .5 inches per month so I will post an updated picture in about a month or two and show you my growth ;0)
