Every woman knows that perfectly arched eyebrows can take your face from drab to fab in minutes. Eyebrows frame your face and bring out the luster in your eyes. If you are more hairy than most, like me, threading your forehead also brightens up your appearance too. This however is not for the faint of heart, ouch!!!!!!!!!!! I find that most women who have Native American, East Indian and Latin heritage tend to be more hairy than others.
To keep my brows in perfect form I patronize The Arches Threading lounge at The Lenox Mall in Atlanta and I ONLY will go to Tina Cash. I usually go during the week, once per month when there is less of a wait. I'm in and out in about 15 minutes as mine take awhile lol The art of Threading is believed to have originated in India and is practiced globally now, therefore I go to an Indian woman to do mine. This is also the same concept I have with Brazilian waxes ;0)
In threading the practitioner holds one end of a cotton thread between her teeth and the other in his left hand. Its middle part is looped through the index and middle fingers of the right hand, and the loop used to trap unwanted hair so that it can be easily plucked from the skin.
Though the threading method of hair removal is used mostly in the facial area, it also works on the body parts lower down - from the belly button to the pubic bone and the toes. But remember that threading is an intricate art that must be performed only by a skilled practitioner, and that it takes months to achieve proficiency. Nothing is more painful than threading perfomed by an inexpert hand.
