I immediately grabbed my mac and googled the benefits of Banana Root hair treatment and here is what I found:
Provide 1 banana (because potassium makes hair soften), 1 egg (as a natural moisturizer hair), 3 tablespoons of regular milk (to strengthen the hair follicles), 3 tablespoons of honey (a natural moisturizer), 5 tablespoons olive oil ( for a very good conditioner.)
How to make:
Crush a banana, then mix egg, honey, milk and olive oil in a bowl. Make sure all the batter evenly mixed. Apply on the hair. To eliminate the smell, your hair may be covered with plastic. Let stand for 15-30 minutes. After that wash with shampoo, and rinse thoroughly.

Banana is rich in potassium, natural oils, carbohydrates and vitamins that helps in softening the hair and protects the hair's natural elasticity preventing split ends and breakage. Bananas when used for hair has a number of benefits such as it creates manageability, shine, growth and controls dandruff.
Unfortunately today is my wash day but I don't have any banana's on hand and I am not going out in the rain to get any. I will have to try this in two weeks when I wash my hair again. Instead I am opting for my restructuring Olive Oil deep conditioning treatment which adds luster and uber sheen to my tresses.
If you decide to give this banana root conditioning treatment a try before I do let me know how you like it.
