Happy to Be Here
So in case you were wondering what this is, its my white car with the driver door pushed backwards. I was standing in between the door and my car when this truck came barreling down the hill towards me. I jumped back in my car to escape death and brace for impact. I'm disappointed to say that the wreckers and police department were of no assistance last night. I therefore had to walk home, about 10 miles in the snow last night and not one single kind Christian offered to help me out. Although I'm sure that car packed of adult male men who offered me a ride would have taken great care of me smh (yeah right!) So there I was with no winter coat, my velvet blazer, blue skinnies, riding boots, my pink duckie umbrella, NY Yankees fitted that I pulled from off my dusty dashboard and my leather gloves. Mind you it was 27 freakin degrees. I felt like I was on a military mission.
At first it wasn't so bad out there. I felt at peace and even felt God's presence with me. Then the wind started kicking up and I'm looking around at the winter wonderland hoping to Jesus that no wild fox comes out to add another bout of excitement to my journey. With one bar left on my half ass blackberry I was able to phone Jason and let him know my whereabouts. So I continue down my road of redemption thinking about food, how great my abs and legs are going to look and through the midst of the snow I see a weirdo looking guy carrying a shovel with a large black hoodie covering his head. I immediately though OK if this wise guy tries anything I'm going to come up with some kung fu moves and whip his you know what lol Dude is huge like 6 foot something and as he comes nearer I see that it is my fiance'. Yay Yay Yay I thought to myself. I was happy to see him although I WAS saying a few choice words 'in my mind' about him taking what it seemed like an eternity. Nevertheless I was glad he came out to walk with me the remaining 5 miles or so it seemed. Cars are slowly crawling by and NO ONE offers to give us a ride. NOT ONE SINGLE PERSON except for the kind Sheriff that drove us the last mile. Thank you so much Sheriff ;0)
The moral of the story is after creating my Vision Board last night with the girls and thinking about my spiritual journey I know for sure that God was watching over me last night. It's never too late to rekindle your spiritual relationship. You never know when it's your time to go, today could be the day......
Stay safe,
