Hesh Multani Mati Face Mask
Yesterday I purchased the Multani Mati Facial mask from Arches at Lenox, the Indian threading salon, where I get my eyebrows groomed. They sell it for $7.99 along with other facial products used in their salon like Rose Water. You can also find it on Amazon for $2.99 or in your local healthfood or Indian grocer. This product comes highly recommended by Moptop Maven so I had to give it a try. To use the mustard yellow powder is combined with water in a bowl then you smooth it on your skin like a paste. You let it set for about 20 minutes until dry and rinse.
This paste cleans grime and dirt from your skins pores to allow it to breathe properly. Think about all the microscopic toxins embedded into your skin daily from pollution, makeup and hair products. It only makes sense to properly cleanse your face throughly with masks and exfoliation once per week. Once applied and the drying process began I actually felt like the paste was pulling the dirt out of my skin. I left mine on for about an hour because I laid down for a quick cat nap and ended up lounging for more than 20 minutes lol. Once I rinsed my skin felt smoother and even had a glow just like the product promises. Today when applying my make-up my products actually glided more smoothly over my skin too! It is safe to say that I am in love with Multani Mati mask and will be incorporating this into my skin routine on a weekly basis. I used about 2 teaspoons mixed with water, which turned out to be way too much as I had enough to apply to my face and decollete area with some left over. I think 1 teaspoon for just your face would be plenty.
If you have used this product let me know how you liked your results.
