My hair GREW

Well as some of you may know I began a natural hair challenge in May where I vowed to only wear no heat styles inorder to reach my goal of bra strap length by next August. This weekend I went to Lilly's Dominican salon, on Jimmy Carter Blvd in Norcross and had my hair blown out by Marisol. She is awesome and really takes great care in doing your hair. This time I opted for a Farrah Fossett flip style and to my surprise my hair actually grew a couple inches AND I maintained my length with minimal breakage. Yay I'm so psyched. Right now I plan to wear my hair straight, without washing for a month, then go back to no heat for about another 3 months. If I keep up my healthy hair routine I am sure I will reach my goal. Cheers to all the other naturalistas out there going strong.
