Huetiful hair steamers have been given rave reviews by trusted natural hair Youtubers like Natural Chica, Lexi with the Curls, Afrobella, Perfectly Pretty, The Moptop Maven, and Taren 916. I have actually watched every single one of their reviews and after much deliberation I decided to purchase one for myself. I didn't want this to be just another purchase on the must haves list for Naturlista's. I once had the pleasure of being steamed in a salon last year and it made my hair feel super soft. The stylist applied the popular Moroccan mask to my hair and let me steam for about 20 minutes resulting in moisturized and buttery like tresses so I was hoping for the same effect.
Now on to my review.....
Pros:
1. Fast shipping
2. Easy assembly (3 part components and you don't need a man's help lol)
3. Ample amount of steam, the water boils in about 2 minutes
4. The steam made my hair feel very well moisturized with the first use
5. Table top
6. Light weight
7. Seemingly portable, can take with you on the road
8. Can be used with any deep conditioning treatment or mask
9. Great online presence and customer service. I follow this company on Facebook and have asked a question and was pleasantly surprised with a quick response! ♥ that!
Cons:
1. The three prong plug makes it harder to just plug in anywhere in your home and eliminates the use of an extension cord if you only have the 2 pronged one.
2. There is no adjustable neck
Overall I love this steamer, it is one of my new found staples and shall be used regularly. I don't know why I was being cheap and didn't buy it sooner, it could of saved me time detangling and hair down the drain from breakage! I even read you can use it with braids too! What I love most about it is that it actually hydrated my hair as promised and that is the most important thing of all. Thank you so much Huetiful ♥
