So there was this guy apparently drunk/high on drugs knocked out in a comma or perhaps sleeping in the middle of the staircase on 34th street. One shoe on the other off and slouched over in a stupor. I walked right by joking "I should take a picture" but I didn't. I felt sorry for him and like so many others I kept on walking without hesitation. So like the show I ask the question What would you do? Are we so immune to pain and suffering that we simply step right over people lying in the street? I feel so bad now, what if he was sick or something and need medical attention.
