So here we are, my Vision board Dream team minus Dearroka, founder of the Pretty Girl Rock Dress Challenge. My good friend Erin hosted our initial VB meeting where we all birthed our dreams for 2011 and today was our 1st quarter recap assessment meeting. The weather in Atlanta was a sunny 60 something degree day and perfect for a dress and lots of legs ;0) We got compliments and lots of smiles from gentlemen out and about in Atlantic Station after our catch up meeting. I guess it's safe to say we looked uniquely feminine and different amongst the sea of jeans and leggings sported by the masses. Pretty Girls Rock On ;0)
Anyway on to something super funny that happened at the lunch table. Some 'mature' looking man approaches our group and asks if he can interrupt by saying Excuse me ladies you all are pretty but YOU (meaning me) are flawless! Talk about fckin embarrassing. He asks me for my name and since I don't like disclosing my name to strangers, just cause, I ask if this is for business or pleasure. He smiles and says all pleasure. Then he goes on to take out his wallet, I suppose to hand me his card, until I stated that I was involved. OK so whatever I get hit on all the time but this was the kicker, he then stated that incase I wanted to UPgrade he wanted to give me his information. WTF incase I want to UPgrade? Upgrade to what exactly was what I was thinking. How rude! Personally that is a TOTAL EPIC FAIL in my book. Never ever is it ok for a man to disrespect another man in an effort to get the girl, that only makes you look super LAME to me and I'm sure some women would agree. smh I know there are women out there perhaps if single, perhaps if not, that would have glady taken that 'emergency dick in a jar' offer that he wanted to give me but really dude is that how men pick up women these days? Honestly I can't blame him entirely I need to share the blame with the women that accept such foolishness from men because until you require respect they will continue dishing out BS like that.
