After watching the above video did you find any of these women as a reflection of yourself?
I chose to write about this as today I read quite a few 'STFU' posts in regards to the Angry Black, White and Yellow women ranting about Valentines and how much they hate it. Chances are if you are currently in a cut buddy, pseudo or hook up type of affair dude is not pulling out the stops to show you he cares on Feb 1st so why should he do so on the 14th? The hoop la is all for show for the most part and this is proven with those posting their 'gifts' of love on FB for all the other women to gawk at and admire. Commercialism ruins everything doesn't it? I have no problem with Valentine's for the historical standpoint of Valentine secretly trying to marry couples against the will of the Roman Emperor Claudius as he believed single men were better soldiers in battle than those with wives and children. History of Valenties Day I do however loathe the commercialism associated with the holiday as it takes all the romance out of it when people are expected to show up and show out because retail says so.
I said all that to say let's do away with the Angry Black Woman syndrome. There is no need for it in our society and I'm so sick of us being labeled as such. You choose your love life, who you allow into your cypher and have the ability to decide what you are willing to put up with. Make better choices.
